Welcome to Rajat Cafe, a beloved gem nestled in the heart of Aizawl, Mizoram! This charming cafe is your go-to spot for a delightful culinary experience, especially if you have a penchant for authentic South and North Indian dishes. Just a stone's throw away from the bustling Thuampui vegetable market and the historic Rajat Auditorium, Rajat Cafe is a hub for locals and visitors alike.

The dining atmosphere at Rajat Cafe is warm and inviting, often bustling with patrons eager to indulge in the cafe's offerings. The casual yet vibrant setting makes it an excellent choice for a quick breakfast or a leisurely lunch with friends and family. It's not uncommon to see families sharing laughter over plates of delicious food, making it feel like a slice of home away from home.

On the menu, you’ll find an array of mouthwatering dishes that will tantalize your taste buds. Start your day with a classic Plain Dosa, perfectly golden and crispy, served with flavorful chutneys and sambar. For a hearty option, try the Alu Paratha Chana, a comforting blend of spiced potato stuffed in flaky bread, served alongside cool, creamy dahi. The cafe also excels in Samosa Chaat, where crisp samosas are lovingly topped with tangy chutneys, a must-try for snack lovers!

Craving something sweet? Don’t miss their Gulab Jamun—these syrup-soaked, melt-in-your-mouth dumplings will leave you nostalgically yearning for more. For a refreshing sip, pair your meal with a cup of Nes Coffee or Nes Tea, perfect for winding down after a delicious feast.

But don't just take our word for it! Customers rave about the freshness and quality of the food. Biswajit Das recalls how Rajat Cafe offers "fresh snacks and breakfast" and praises its reasonable prices compared to the rest of the city. Venugopal Doosa highlights it as "the only place in Aizawl where you can get a South Indian Dosa dish," noting that it often draws a crowd—a testament to its popularity. And let’s not forget the nostalgia shared by AlFred, who fondly recalls childhood memories tied to this humble cafe.

Rajat Cafe is not just a dining spot; it's a place where flavors, community, and memories converge. Whether you are a local or a traveler passing through Aizawl, this cozy cafe promises a delicious journey through the rich tapestry of Indian cuisine. Make it a point to stop by and experience the warmth and culinary delights for yourself!

Only place in Aizawl where you can get South Indian Dosa dish and Aalo parota with Dahi. Taste is good. This place is usually crowded. Parking only available for 2-3 cars but for bikes the parking is enough.
